I suppose this was encouraging, but what the heck is wrong with his knee then?

It's not an ACL, so what is so severe that he couldn't be used for the IR come back later position?

I'm not sure how the rule works.

EDIT: Just found this in the latest Cheesehead tv article

On Tuesday Sept. 3, teams are allowed to place one player on injured reserve as designated to return, after which they cannot practice for six weeks and cannot play for eight weeks

So The Packers don't have that option for Harris since he was placed on IR to get to 75.

Or am I reading this wrong?

Thankfully The Packers did not hav any serious injuries last night, which means they can't use that option?

I'm still confused.

Article went on to talk About Burnette and Hayward being eligible if their injuries are more serious than have been reported.

So it looks like Harris is not eligible.

Man, gotta love that newsfeed!!!!! =d>

The designated IR player must be on the original 53 man roster.

edit I see you were answering your own question. What the heck do you need me for then? I feel so useless. 😢

Designate to Return is not an option for DuJuan Harris because he didn't make it to the 53 as he's on IR already, correct?

beast (2-Jan) : I expect Georgia will change that tomorrow, but we'll have to wait and see. If they do, then only Big 10 and SEC are left.
