It will take 5-8 weeks before he is anointed the #1 back.

I was just taken back a little that the leader in TD's last season couldn't even get one of the top two slots on his team. What does this say to you? The Packers feel it was a fluke? The Packers have two even better WR? It could be taken a few ways. I'm interested.

I just see Eddie Lacy as the starting RB. I think he has won the job throughout TC and preseason play. In a run away. Green and Starks could easily flip the 2/3 spot on the depth chart to this point. Franklin has looked like a rookie with some promise. I expect he will perform much better from about halfway through the season on. Yet, he could easily surprise.

    I see it this way:
    1. Lacy
    2. Starks
    3. Franklin
    4. Green

My reasons? Lacy , I think it's his job to
lose. He has too big of an up side to not
give him a shot. If he shows he can't
handle it, only then does he not keep
    it.
Starks as 2 because he has more reps
in the offense and has shown he has talent.

    Franklin 3 because he's a draft pick
and will be given a chance.

Green is the odd man out. If he doesn't
show he can stay healthy, there's no
reason to keep him any longer.

I see Green as the #2 right now for the simple fact that he's got more tools to handle 3rd down opportunities than the other two guys. He is the better pass blocker and he is a solid receiver and if he's not better then he is at least close to Starks in running ability. Franklin seems like a project at this point and I doubt he sees many snaps without someone getting injured. He probably won't even be active on game day.
