PUP: OT Sherrod, DL Worthy, OL Tretter, S Richardson

IR: OT Bulaga
Bulaga might be put on the designated to return list but I wouldn’t count on it.

23 on Offense
QB (2): Rodgers, Harrell (2)
RB (4): Lacy, Franklin, Harris, Green (6)
FB (1): Kuhn (7)
TE (4): Finley, Mulligan, Quarless, Taylor (11)
WR (5): Nelson, Cobb, Jones, Boykins, Ross (16)
OT (3): Bakhtiari, Barclay, Newhouse (19)
OG (2): Sitton, Lang (21)
OC (2): D-Smith, Van Roten (23)

27 on Defense
NT (3): Raji, Pickett, Jolly (3)
DE (5): Jones, Wilson, Daniels, Neal, Boyd (8)
OLB (4): Matthews, Perry, Mulumba, Palmer (12)
ILB (5): Hawk, Jones, Francois, Manning, Barrington (17)
CB (6): Williams, Shields, Haywards, Hyde, House, Bush (23)
S (4): Burnett, McMillian, Jennings, Banjo (27)

3 on ST
ST (3): Crosby, Masthay, Goode (3)

I’d prefer Thunder (with Lacy and Starks) and Lightning (with Harris and Franklin) but I get this feeling the Packers might just be ready to move on from Starks and go with Green instead.

One of the ILB probably going to be cut, I picked Lattimore.

I REALLY dislike being that short on the OL, and honestly don't think the Packers would go that short for long but other positions have eanred it more IMO.

Just feel like Boyd has shown enough potential to stick even thought he might be the 8th DL, and Palmer has flash some potential and could help on STs coverage.

Nice.

I would replace Harrell, Green, Ross and Taylor with Young, Starks, White and Stoneburner. Palmer goes PS and add Patrick Lewis at C/G.

Manning and Kuhn look to be hanging on for dear life. Maybe Moses sticks?

Banjo shows great potential.

Thank God we have two more games to see what shakes out before the regular season. Lots left to decide.

I think we need to draft a real fullback. Or else line Raji up back there more often. I know Kuhn is a fan favorite and all, but I'm sick to death of that BS short handoff to him that always stuffed, and Kuhn getting stoned by a linebacker on third and short. Halfback should be Lacy, Harris, Franklin and after that, I don't care. Green and Starks have disappointed. The rest of that list is pretty spot on. It is pretty unusual to keep 8 Dlineman, but what a solid rotation we will have.

One thing with Palmer is he can likely be kept on the practice squad (probably inactive on game days anyway) and open up a spot for another position.

I think Ross is a good bet to make the team, he gets pulled in preseason games when the 2s come off the field and they give him starter reps on returns and pull him off that when the back ups go in. I don't think Cobb will be primary returner this year especially since he's dealing with that arm injury.

The lists are pretty good. I started to put one together, yet again, and decided to wait. Barring injury there is only about 5-6 positions that are up for grabs.

Offense:
Do they keep a FB? (No) Does the extra player go to a 5th RB, 6th WR or 5th TE? (TE)
Young is behind Harrell right now. He has 2 weeks to show he is the better QB. a Since they signed him I thought he would. Right now I am leaning toward Harrell hanging on to the #2 although I have no visible proof.
Because so may players can line up a different positions they only keep 8 OLmen and Sherrod on the PUP to begin the season.

Defense:

They will have 7 DLmen, 9 LBers and 9 DBs

CJ Wilson will be competing not only against Jolly, Neal and Boyd on the line, he will be competing against LBers Barrington, Palmer and Mulumba and DB Banjo. It will be interesting so see who stays and who gets picked up by other teams.

But I thinking he looked like he's growing, improved and starting to flash, and thought about Newhouse as a rookie.
Newhouse looked HORRIBLE at first as a rookie in traing camp, but improved a lot and was kept (which surprised a number of fans includingly myself).

I was thinking Palmer might be in the same boat of being a draft pick, having very raw potential and showing improvment so he's kept. Plus if needed, I thought he might be decent on STs coverage wise if other get hurt.

Also remember that Raji, Pickett, Jolly, Neal and Wilson are all in contract years. So they'd only be keeping 3 DL players (plus Worthy on PUP/IR) that currently have a contract for the Packers next year. And then the Packers will probably resign 3 or 4 of the contract year guys... but which ones is still unclear.
