Agreed. I can't see all the other teams taking a pass on him. GB keeps 5 TE this year. He may well be one of the 5.

Stoneburner displayed really athletic ability on his TD against the Rams and earlier on his near TD. I think it was in the scrimmage, but may have been against the Cards. On that play he twisted around, caught the pass and nearly kept his feet in bounds for a TD. I thought it was pretty impressive for someone his size, even though he didn't score. He's a really intriguing prospect. I hope they can keep him another year. I believe he might develop into a really good TE. Plus, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a 3rd or 4th TE who "only catches TD passes"!!!

Everyone loves Ryan Taylor so much, just because he plays ST.

I say just cut Taylor and Williams. They've had three years to show their potential and haven't done jack.

Keep Finley, Quarless and Bostick. Maybe Mulligan. Stoneburner goes to PS, he'll get a shot next year, just like Bostick is getting now.

I haven't followed Williams' season - is he even playing? To me, he was a disappointment with the Packers, and the best candidate to be gotten rid of. As for Taylor, he has been surprisingly decent this season - albeit starting with very low expectations. And I still see hope for Stoneburner developing as a quality TE.

I do think Stoneburner has potential, but he's been snakebit since that fumble in the preseason. If he can be as good as Spencer Havner down the stretch, I'll be happy.
