Wait, I know why it's Rodgers fault. He spread the ball to something like ten different receivers. What a FOOL! And what's this? He's tops in the league on third down? My god if he was any good we wouldn't ever HAVE a third down!

Like i said I don't blame Rodgers on the Loss but seeing you want to bring up guessing stats why don't you mention how we have lost so many close games and the almighty Rodgers (don't know if he leads or not) has a awesome 46 for a passer rating in the last 5 minutes of a game.

But like i said this game was all on Mike McCarthy and he blew it again.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

CDN.......I agree. Rodger's numbers don't lie. 3730 yards, 25 TD's, 13 INT's, and a passer rating of 91.4.
Damn good numbers.
Had the D and special teams not had meltdowns at the worst possible times, the "Rodgers haters" wouldn't even be visiting this site.
They put all the blame on AR, yet their "hero" has lots worse numbers then Aaron Rodgers this season.
But the "hero" gets all the praise for the wins, and Aaron Rodgers gets all the blame for our losses.

Why should things be different Rodgers is a good qb in the first 55 minutes of a game that i won't deny. But imagine if he could continue in the last 5 minutes of games what would his stats be.
As far as the praise and blame remember how many people blamed the former qb for the loss in the championship game last year.

Like i have said all along i will take wins over good stats any day.

heres a question for all what do

kerry collins, joe flacco, and gus ferrotte all have in common?

they are ranked 20th or worse in passing but are all going to the playoffs.

I really think we need a new head coach or atleast Mike McCarthy should let Rodgers finish the game instead of pulling the reigns in on him.
this whole season is on Mike McCarthy and his bs play calling at the end of games.

Come on Dh, those 3 have what in common?

Collins....Tenn D

Flaco...Baltimore D

Gus...Minny D

you just stated a perfect case as to what is a major issue with the Packers this year...Arent those 3 D in top 10 if not better?

Mike splay calling has been very odd, but I will have to look into it more, but I am pretty sure had similar things called last year too..

Here is something I found interesting...

According to yahoo sports

BF has had 9 games that were late and close..He threw 1 td and 3 ints...66 atts..

Close is 7 tds and 7 int in 163 att

I do not know what they use for late and close

Aaron Rodgers they say is 4 tds and 4 int in 80 att for late and close

Close is 13 tds and 6 ints in 272 att

I have no clue what those stats could be long. They showed Rodgers final 5 minute stats and they sucked. But after watching the last few games it could be from Mike McCarthy and shitty play calling. And as far as those qbs Baltimore is i belive the highest scoring offense in the past 5 weeks.

Actually those 3 offenses are top 13 that took me by shock.

Yes, it is shocking that when your defense and special teams puts your offense in good scoring position that it helps your offense, tremendously! Remember the '96 season the packers lead the league in scoring? Field position!!! Defense!!!

What are we lacking this year? Field position, DEFENSE!

Look at the WHOLE picture dh, not just ONE player on a 53 man roster. It's getting REALLY old, REALLY fast. Almost as old as people saying our old QB lost us the game in the championship. This is a team game, the team wins, the team loses. If special teams blows, the teams gonna have harder time scoring. IF the defense, oh nevermind. If you don't get it through your thick head by now, you never will.

Zero all i'm saying is this team isn't that good but it seems like everyone is giving Rodgers a pass and blaming everyone else i totally agree with you that each game is lost by the full team.

I also am starting to think Mike McCarthy isn't that great of a coach and a very bad play caller.

I know it sounded like i was bashing Rodgers but i'm trying to make people see he is at as much blame as everyone else thats all.

I'll start by saying that the only thing I think you're getting wrong in this debate is that you say nobody's assigning Rodgers his fair share of the blame, and I don't think you're right about that. I've seen plenty of people a. Agreeing with you that he hasn't looked great at the end of games, and b. Admitting that he lost us a couple games (Tampa, etc.).

Now, as for the ranking of the offenses: The Titans have either the #1 or #2 rushing offense, so that accounts in large part for their success. So Collins has that to lean on (although I will agree he's stepped up when he needed to for the most part). Same goes for Minny. So w/ those 2 teams you're looking at top-shelf RBs performing at a very high level and good OL play - things the Packers didn't have on a reliable basis this year.

Baltimore is its own story, but again they've generally run well and had reasonably good OL play. Add the defenses on those 3 teams, and you can easily explain how those teams are winning despite non-stellar QB play.

Seriously, I haven't seen but a couple people saying that Aaron's not at fault. He's a part of a team that has under-performed, as a team. This "Rodgers love fest" you obsess about is nothing more than people responding to trolls (not you, and you know who I'm talking about) who insist that the reason the team has underperformed is the change at QB and thus focus everything in that direction. When you started in on Rodgers' stats in the last 5 minutes, you fed the trolls, and all anyone's been trying to do since is to point out that there's more going on in those final 5 minutes than Rodgers.
