Interesting how the fans attack Favre . . .

The comments posted by fans on this story are eye opening indeed. In my opinion, they're much more representative of how any normal quarterback would have been treated after tossing 6 INTs against 1 TD in three games. Favre fans have truly given the man kid-glove treatment over the years. Now he's discovering what a cold world NFL stardom can be for players who are regarded as something less than divine.

Will Favre, Mangini Return in '09??

I think Brett's finding out New Yorkers don't carry the grace the the good people of Packerland do. I sre hope he calls it quits so we can praise his career and move on as packer fans which clearly hasn't happened this year for some. Looking back I wish more then ever he stayed retired as things would all be a lot more peaceful for him, for the Packers organization and especially the fans

The Jets have been sucking as a team for a long time now. Also, BF has an injured shoulder.

I'd like to know about these 'things'. Ofcourse in the off-season some things happend that shouldn't have, but that was to blame on both sides, not just Ted Thompson or Brett.

No one knew this injury was bothering him like this, not even you, so you shouldn't come in here and use that as an argument for things you've said pretty much the entire time.

Ofcourse this does change alot, if this is really all because of his shoulder, the Jets might have hope for the next season. Problem is though, Cassel will be a FA, if the Jets will go after Cassel, Favre will have to go. Maybe Favre will eventually play for the Vikings that way...

Try looking at things unbiased and honestly for a change, THEN post a response. If you are capable of that.
