I would have to say that we need to bolster our D-line. KGB's decline and Jenkins' injury were a big blow to the defense. I believe if we can fix the D line, they will make everyone else on the D look better.

It has to be the defensive line. I wish they would be able to get some pass rush and some penetration on running plays. Our secondary would have an easier time with coverage and our linebackers/safeties wouldn't have to tackle the running backs after they have already gained 5-6 yards. I would absolutely love to be one of the stronger defensive teams like the ravens and steelers and not have to worry about having a huge offense.

D-line. My new infatuation is with Orakpo (DE, Texas). As a rookie he can at the very least play 3rd downs when Jenkins moves in to DT. That would mean we couldn't get BJ Raji, but we could possibly grab his partner in destruction in Brace (DT, Boston College) in a later round. Haynesworth would be awesome as well.

Does the coaching staff count?

I'd like to get a new DC, one that usually plays a 3-4, but has some experience with a 4-3. We play some 4-3 till we get some good rushing LBs, our D-line could miss one DT anyway, it's not like we would get that much worse atm.

I'd like him to be creative, create alot of movement before the snap, yet, stay aggressive like the Packers currently are. And with that creativety, I also mean some 'unusual plays'. Maybe a 1-5-5, with just one D-lineman in, or a 2-3/4 in obvious passing down, with the faster DT dropping back into coverage and a 3 man blitz by the LBs.....

Oh, how I'd love to watch the Packers play defense if that happend.

i wish the packers didnt give anyone up but also picked up a good free agent on defense or a good kick/punt returner. we need a good spark late in games
