I'm looking forward to Dom Capers shitcanning the 2 man Dline, and start putting pressure on quarterback. And I want pressure coming from everywhere, not just one OLB position.

I want to see some hot young women in tight fitting Packers gear. You don't get to be a creepy old man by just getting old.

For me it is the running backs. For the first time since Ahman Green (the first time around) I feel excitement for our running game. Not only because we spent a second and a fourth on RBs but because we finally drafted a couple of guys who many people are looking at and saying good things about. It seems that in the past all the guys we brought in, whether it was through the draft or whatever, were just guys. Even though a lot of the guys we've had since Green (I can't believe he only left in 2007, it seem so mauch longer than that) brought a lot of hope initially and a few of them even showed flashes it just seems that no one expected much from them and honestly, we didn't get much. With Green I got the feeling that on almost every play he was only a fraction of an inch from busting any run into a long one. I've never got that feeling from anyone since. I'm not expecting an NFL rushing leader from Lacy or Franklin and to be honest, with out offense I'm not even expecting them to give us more per season than Ryan Grant did (1200 yards), I'm just hoping that the potential is there. Of course I'd be happy if either of them develops into the type of back that we could count on to pick up a 3rd and 2 or 3 on a fairly consistent basis as well.

After that it would have to be the pass rush. I'm hoping that someone, anyone, can take a bit of pressure off Matthews.

Also, look back at the film on Starks. Dude runs HARD. If he can keep his pads low, I think he has a serious shot at staying healthier. That's what he needs to do. Dude can get to the corner and he always falls forward.

As for DuJuan Harris, he's got all the skills he needs too. Could be the odd man out just due to height. Wouldn't mind seeing him ok kickoffs ahead of Johnny Franklin. He's just more expendable imo. Not that I don't like him. Plus, shorter guys sometimes get lost in the fray. Defenders lose sight of him in the open field. And let's face it, dude's got speed.

There is NO wrong answer to this question - all those here are true and great. My own top pick would be the pass rush - specifically, Nick Perry. If he is good enough that teams can't just go overboard on Clay Matthews, everything else will fall into place - no time for QBs to pass, less commitment of personnel to coverage, extra people in the box against the run, etc. And of course, that leads to more possessions to throw bombs and ram it down their throat.

If it turns out Nate Palmer can play, BAM! We got our OLB corps all set.

It would be SO much fun watching these guys get to the QB.

I think all of our LB positions will be extremely competitive outside of Clay.

But, for sheer excitement in seeing changes in personnel, you have to like the upgrades at RB, and imagine how those players will impact our offense. This will be HUGE!

As for pass rush, yeah, I agree there too. Going into this offseason, I felt our greatest needs were RB, DL, LB and OL. It all points to being able to control clock with the running game, extending drives, and getting after the opposing QB, stopping plays at the line, or behind the line.

Datone. Huge addition. Lacy and Franklin. Both huge additions. The shuffling of our OL looks to be a huge change, one that should pay dividends. The real wildcards: Palmer, Manning, Barrington, Malumba & Perry.

I find this latter group will make for an incredibly exciting battle for positions. Palmer, Manning, Barrington and Malumba being virtual unknowns. All we have is a lot of promise at this point, but I hope it is realized, and that they all make this team and have great seasons. If so, wow. This could be really special.

The running game won't mean crap if the OL can't do its part. It'll be easier for them this year to help the run game because of our new backs, but still... piss poor play from them and we can NEVER run.

If anything, I'm excited to see if we can finally get our defense up. They say defense wins championships... mostly true. If you have a high-flying offense all you need is a defense that can stop a drive when it matters. Case in point, 2010. I'm not exactly sure how the defense clicked in place but it did. In 2011, it just never did and thus our super offense was defeated by a team that had balance.

If in 2013 we can not have our defense making stops, we can not win. Forget about the damn run game as the most look forward to, if we can not protect Aaron Rodgers (which will take a combination of OL and the running game) then we are screwed in both ways. On the bright side, I see this season working out nicely. It'll be close... much like 55-45 chance of success... but I see success!

So I'm looking forward to seeing if Ted Thompson made the right moves this year. Young players can become better over time... and this is what I have to hope for. That the experience of the past few years and the bringing of new players, lead all by Jedi Master Rodgers, skyrockets us to victory.

Or we crumble even more. In Ted Thompson we trust!
