With training camp getting close I believe there will be some outstanding battles for everything from making the practice squad to becoming a starter. What position battles are you looking forward to the most?

The RB battle seems the most interesting to me as they all appear to be on fairly even ground starting out and there is certainly excess numbers. I'm looking forward to see how it shakes out. I think one of the more important positions is for someone to step up is at safety.

I believe our biggest battles for positions will be at LB, and I am really looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out. After that, probably WR and TE. RT is going to be a really great battle as well. I do think LB will be the most fun to watch though. Seems like we've got some really promising players there fighting for roster/starter positions.

RB. Football is WAY more fun to watch if your team doesn't concede on third and short all the time.

I think we've got some serious talent at the position right now.

One other thing is I hope Aaron's downfield accuracy improves over last year. In previous seasons his shit was DEADLY down the field. I just don't think they had that same connection last year. Hopefully the RBs forcing safeties up into the box will make the downfield passing game look better once again.

IF in fact opposing safeties DO move up into the box.

I would love to see what they do with the offense now that they have some serious talent at RB, but I don't think we'll see too much of it in the preseason. Outside of that, I want to see how the whole linebacking corps looks...both inside and out...and to see if they are really going to be more physical.

My hope? That Jolly leaves jaws on the ground with how good he looks and gets well on his way to a comeback player of the year award.

There is NO wrong answer to this question - all those here are true and great. My own top pick would be the pass rush - specifically, Nick Perry. If he is good enough that teams can't just go overboard on Clay Matthews, everything else will fall into place - no time for QBs to pass, less commitment of personnel to coverage, extra people in the box against the run, etc. And of course, that leads to more possessions to throw bombs and ram it down their throat.

I really respect what the Giants have done in recent years with such a heavy emphasis on the pass rush. If a team has a consistent pass rush, they will almost always be competing. Otherwise, I'm interested in seeing what D. House can bring to the table if he stays mostly healthy. I think his physical presence could be a great benefit to an otherwise soft defensive backfield. I'm not overly excited about the safety positions or the ILB's, but so long as the other positions play really well, they will be OK.

I expect an average at best offensive line yet again, even with the switch, so that doesn't get me too excited. I'm looking forward to seeing the running backs. Hopefully they have some holes to run through.

I am watching in this order based on level of interest

1. Offensive Line
2. Defensive Line
3. Running Back
4. Inside Linebacker
5. Safety
6. #4 Receiver

I'm looking forward to the RB battle the most. Not just because of the need for an improved running game but also because of the need for pass catching out of the backfield. It's been non-existent at times the past few years for a variety of reasons.

After RB comes the TE and DL/LB/Pass rush for the logjam of bodies vs roster spots available.

I echo the running back sentiments. I'm really looking forward to watching Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin compete.

I’m also interested in how Bryan Bulaga will play at left tackle. At right tackle, he was perhaps the most underrated player on the roster. I do believe he has the technique and wits to make the transition, but I worry that switching him to left tackle will have adverse effects as it did with Baltimore's Michael Oher.

I want to see some hot young women in tight fitting Packers gear. You don't get to be a creepy old man by just getting old.

Zero2Cool (5h) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (7h) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (21h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (21h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
