I was en route for an installation of one of my paintings at a client's home, and walking in front of the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee this morning was none other than Ted Thompson. I pulled a U-ee, rolled down the window and called his name. He came over, I explained to him that I had given him an art piece back when he first took the GM job, and he still has it. He wrote me a thank you letter shortly thereafter, which was cool to get.
During our conversation, I thanked him for all the great work he has done in building our team, and told him how much I appreciated it. He said, "well, it's a fun job! Have a great summer!"
How fun.... had to share. [grin1]
