Though Neal pushing pushing for Jones playing time? ... Jones hasn't even practiced fully padded yet in the NFL... much less played a game. I don't believe rookies have playing time... until you know ... they play. Also DL at times take a year to adjust to the NFL, see Raji as an example.
Also I keep reading lots of places as Boyd maybe being Pickett future replacement. Maybe for Pickett spot... but they play totally different styles. Pickett is rock... he might not being going forward but other teams can't push him back ether. Boyd on the other hand is a mover, looked surprising quick for his size moving pretty well, but also looked like he could be moved easier than you'd prefer because he was higher in his stance than one would prefer but some of the stuff is more of the easier things to coach up technique wise.
