Wow RP.

You must be some kind of jinx because you are always wrong when you make predictions.

Cheesey, AROD is 0-8 now for comebacks. It seems like McCarthy doesn't trust Rodgers to put the game in his hands.

Does he know something that you don't know?

Probably.

Make all the excuses you want. Rodgers hasn't put this team on his back and won a game when it mattered.

yes that is true but today he lead them to position to win the game and they just can't catch a break. who would of thought a blocked field goal, and special teams mistake, and a too conservative coach would lose us this game*Sarcasm*.

Yeah, despite how bad he played in the Metrodome, Rodgers put them in winning position at the end, and Crosby couldn't finish the Vikings off.

It was the same case today. This time, he didn't even get an opportunity.

The same thing happened in Tennessee.

We can't expect Rodgers to connect with Jennings/Walker on a big bomb to win the game in overtime. Those only happen because opposing defenses were stupid.

Rodgers made the big throw to James Jones to get them into field goal position, then they played the percentages and called three handoffs to run the clock down to 25 seconds for a medium-range game-winning field goal attempt. I can't fault McCarthy for that decision, although I was hoping he would call a play-action or screen. I suppose he didn't want to risk it with the way the Bears were getting penetration into the backfield on so many plays throughout the game.

Rodgers played a good game, including on the last drive. As mad as I am about this loss right now, I actually think it was somewhat of a moral victory for him. The MNF announcers had good things to say about him all night, and they were right.

As far as I'm concerned Rodgers had everything of a last minute drive for the win, minus the win itself.

I have said it many times, and just get branded "a hater", AR will never become The QB everyone wants him to be untill coaching changes are made.

MM has proven several times this year that he will not let AR and the offense to finish a game. Always going the "safe route", settling for fg attempts, instead of trying to put the ball in the endzone.

Last night was just another case of the same ole, same ole.

The Packers dominated the game from the start. Put the ball in the end zone twice.
2nd half Packers scored what a total of 3 points!!!!

It's getting real old, real fast, same posts every week, AR played a great game, but we still lost, it's not his fault, well last night it wasn't the defenses fault, Bears offense less than 300 total yds., turnovers were 2-2, special teams gave up a play, but made a few good plays also.

Everyone seems to want to do a "knee jerk reaction" and place the blame on someone, well take a long look at the whole season, if you want to put the blame on anyone, it's not the players.

Right now AR is the qb of a 5-10 team, I don't care how good his stats are, he will never become known as a solid NFL QB until the wins start coming, that is not going to happen by "playing it safe" all the time.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Do you think that MM might be afraid of Rodgers throwing a game ending pick likes he's done several times before?

Maybe he's trying to build his confidence and take the pressure off by not putting it all on young AROD?

See what happens when you play "within the system"

I hate to say it, but BF gave you those intangibles that helped you win games.

It's time for some people to give credit to BF around here for last year's amazing season. Many here still think it was solely because of Ted Thompson or MM.

Not saying that AROD won't develop into a good QB, but to say that he's better than BF, or was the better option is simply untrue.

Sometimes it is interesting to see what the other teams press has to say...

Chicago Tribs Dan Pompei's take on the game.
