Barring injury, this might be the season that Jermichael Finley breaks it open for the Green Bay Packers. Not only is Finley set to bring it because he's in the final season of a two-year contract extension, the Packers gave him a boost this spring by guaranteeing his roster spot by honoring the money due [...]

The most significant thing in the article is the need for the D to commit more to run stopping which should open the field for Finley. He still has to catch the ball, though. Finley should be very motivated because it's his contract year, but I'm not sure how much that will help the dropping problem. I just wonder how good a year he needs to have in order for the Packers to pay his asking price beyond the coming season.

Sorry, but I just can't see Finley having that great season, and honestly, if the team can have a great year with a lesser contribution from Finley, I think I prefer that.

We hear the same thing EVERY year.

This year, he MIGHT break out!

Last year he sucked shit, until Aaron started meeting with him the night before games, to teach him the offensive game plan. And perhaps to keep him from partying the night before. Voila! Suddenly he started to look a little better on Sundays.

Still wasn't great, but he looked good.

I didn't watch every down last year but it seemed to me he was a lot better in the second half of the year. I think he probably started to focus better when it looked like he was being written out of the offense. I am hoping the improvement carries over.

I hope he has a great season AND leaves in free agency. Let one of our rivals overpay for his attitude, drops, and spotty production.

I'm not going to hold my breath on this, but it truly is the ultimate scenario.

I hope he has a great year because I see it being his last here. After not flinching about the bonus and zero cooperation there even though he hadn't played to that level no way he won't milk FA with a good year.
Ted was put in a corner and bit the bullet this go around but no way he plays that game again.
It won't surprise me to see him have his best year because players like him do that. So go get all you can now.

Everywhere I look on the InterWeb, I find stories about Aaron Rodgers’ three receiving targets this year on the Green Bay Packers: James Jones, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. And a fine trio of wide receivers they are. You’ve got Jones, the touchdown-maker. Then there’s Nelson, the field-stretcher. And of course the emerging Cobb is [...]
