One thing I have always liked about the Packers, and maybe it's necause GB is such a small city, is that they really seem to understand how much they mean to the community and how much GB means to them. It's a relationship unlike most other places where the players are just aloof celebrities. I think sometimes it's why OTA's and even TC are almost like a celebration of "hey we'[re gettin' the band together!" as much as they are about getting ready for the season.
Down here in the flat land it's almost like the players are going through the motions, making excuses for why they are so bad, and trying to soak up the fame and fortune that comes from being a Chicago celebrity. I suppose that's part of what happens when your practice facility is in a very exclusive suburb where no real fans live or, as a rule, are allowed to visit.
