Hey fellow Cheeseheads,

Since the end of the 2012 season, PackersHome.com has underwent some improvements and additional features implemented. The site performs very snappy now! And to help combat the SPAM we have added two moderators, which you can read about here - link .

Site/Forum Theme
The forum theme and overall site template have improved quite a bit.

Chat Room
Formerly known as "GameDay Chat", has been opened to anyone registered. And it is ready just in time for the NFL Draft! (coincidence?) 😉 Rumors are going around the Packers aim to get bigger and tougher via draft. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Blog
This is completed in a utilitarian sense. The name of it might change and surely the design will be improved.

Forum
We’ve upgraded to the latest source version of YAF. The feature I’m most excited about is the notification bar replacing those annoying modal dialog popups. There are several other forum enhancements and features too, but you’ll discover all those on your own.

NFL Pick’em
The NFL Pick’em feature is out of ‘beta’ stage and is going to be ‘live’ for the 2013 season. You don’t need to register to be eligible, however, you do need to be signed in to make your picks every week.

Basically, if you want the latest information, you’ll want to hit www.PackersHome.com often to ensure you’re not the last one at the water cooler to know about the latest contract signing, free agent *cough, cough* signing, trade, Jermichael Finley media mess up, etc …
