Comparing him to them? These are quarterbacks who have stayed in the league for 14+ years. You said Rodgers won't be in the league for 14+ years. So wtf are you talking about... Rodgers obviously has the talent to play in the league for that long. That was Jaws initial statement and you shot it down, and now you're not even making coherent arguments.

So you are saying Rodgers is good enough to ride the pine for 9 years out of 14 ok got ya .

Actually I am saying he is more than good enough to do that. Are you implying that he isn't?

I have no idea why executives at ABC, Fox, CBS, or even the NFLN have not picked up dhazer as a color comentator or made him part of the pre and post game shows.

That is the biggest mystery to me.

I really don't like Jaws. He has a nasty habit of blowing any QB who is playing well. He is one of the biggest examples of fair weather fan, at least when it comes to QBs.

I think Rodgers is going to be a good QB. I like the way he spreads the ball around. That is something that it usually takes a starter a couple years to get to that point. Favre didn't start doing that until 95'.

Actually, that's because he didn't need to. He had who would have been one of the best WRs to ever play the game up until '95. If you throw the ball in Sterling Sharpe's area, he will catch it. It's a given.

As for Rodgers, he has a high IQ and it shows. He picks things up fast and learns from his mistakes. Remember how in the beginning of the season he had a slow release? Well, he fixed that really fast.

He gets confused..

He wants a q/b to be a STARTER for 14 + years

But I think he forgot to mention that...

you gave him examples of q/b that were around 14 years, but now he doesnt like the fact ou had some...So now he wants to change the criteria on what 14 years q/b can be used

Plus, Rodgers is actually able to function at the position in December!!

Sorry, pre-emptive strike aimed directly at an aging prima donna, who shall remain unnamed, and his many worshippers.

As far as Jaws goes, I turn down the sound on the TV and turn up the radio so I can listen to the homers call the game.

I don't understand the hate for Jaws. He speaks the best and is the most knowledgeable color man in the sport today.
