Video: If it's cash flow you're worried about, the Green Bay Packers won't have any problems writing quarterback Aaron Rodgers a big check whenever his contract extension is finished.

I don't think it's a matter of "Can". Nobody in the league would pay more for Rodgers than we would, and Rodgers isn't stupid enough to ask for a colossal dollar figure because it'll just make the rest of the team weaker. The big question is, how much personal wealth is he willing to put aside to get more talent around him?

Make it easy for him.. if he is really willing to take a home team discount I'd hand him a blank check if its cheaper then flaccos deal its a win win.

Packers team president Mark Murphy wants to do a pair of quarterback deals, and sounded optimistic about getting them done sooner rather than later. While addressing a group of Packers reporters at the league meetings, Murphy acknowledged that the Packers are working on a long-term deal for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which would likely be done

@jasonjwilde Please help me remember. On "Tuesdays with Aaron" was there a time where he discussed taking *less* $$ in a new contract to help the #Packers surround the team with more talent?

His response:
