That would have been plan B, if a scholarship for ball would have failed.. in the end it matter not...

Part of me wanted to walk in the footstep of my father and those that have served before me.. it would have been an honor.

I would have been an interesting case going through boot camp.. I either would have excelled or lived in the brig.. I don't know how I would have responded to some of the stories Dad has told about boot camp.. I think I would have took a poke at someone sooner or later. :lol:

On the gird iron.. you can take your pissedoffness out on the guy across the line of scrimmage and get away with it.. from the sounds of it in boot camp.. you just had to suck it up and forget it.. I don't do well with getting challenged and not being able to respond accordingly.

But maybe that is the point, eh.

I personally think division championships should be decided by division records (as they are in college), with overall records coming in only as tiebreakers. If the Packers finish this season 5-1 in the division, it makes no sense to me why they wouldn't be declared the division champion.

Hell, they lost by 3 points to the team with the best record in football. They've been in every game except the NO game (which I believe they trailed by 3 at halftime)

Then why play the other games?

Just each team plays 6 games then go right into the playoffs.. I have no problem with us not making it in if we happen to go 5-1 in the division.

Tests the overall makeup of your team.. we fell short.. no excuses and complaints of not making the playoffs for me.

The same question could be asked of college football, then: Why play the out-of-conference games?

He doesn't appear so hurting to warrant sitting him.
He should play out the string unless he absolutelt can't go.
Sitting him now might br more detrimenal to his head than a help to his shoulder.
