I was merely attempting to open up the debate amongst us. My basic views are just a tad bit right of Atilla the Hun.

I'm not living off the government. I'm living off my wife's brilliance, and my recognition of her brilliance, along with a lifetime of investment in myself and my plans to be in a position to be able to invest in her and her visions. I also worked very hard for her.

I'm getting PAID by the government, (earned, if you knew me) but not living off it, as I'm getting PAID by Home Depot, (earned, if you knew me) but not living off that, either. I missed the game today, as I had to work at the Home Depot. I "had" to work because I was expected to be there. I'm coming up on my 2 year anniversary. I have never been late to work by so much as one minute. They love me, I love them, kumbaya, etc. I give the absolute best advice I can give to every customer I see. It may or may not be in the Home Depot's best interest. It is just my best advice. (Some might remember I'm skilled in the trades- my cheapness) Manglement is totally good with how I roll.

Oh, and I had a contract with the government. I'd really put my life on the line, in all kinds of places, for 30 fucking years, without being able to really bitch about my job. After the 30, I get paid most of what I got paid doing it, plus I get to tell Dakota T to kma. I took it! (The job, lol)

Does anyone belong NRA anymore?

I don't know that I know one under the age of mid 50's or older.

An assault weapon's intrinsic purpose is to kill, wound and threaten living beings. It's why they exist. Period.

The firearms used at Aurora, Tucson, Sandy Hook and so many other mass shootings are specifically categorized as "assault rifles."
The intention is, by definition, to assault. They're aggressive weapons intended to physically attack and do harm.
Otherwise they'd be called "defense weapons" or "protection weapons."
