There is something to be said for the topic of the thread in relationship to yesterday.
Simply put the defense, when got the blunt end of the poor calls, started to lose it. Woodson all but going postal on the field was the breaking point. They could have broken down right there..
But they didn't.. Woodson (with a large assist from Shields) managed to stay in the game and calm down. The defense seems to calm down right with it..
Games, calls, plays will not go to plan often.. and occasionally they lace your face with virtual feces.. it is how you handle that adversity that often is forgotten at the end of the day.
This team is being hardened right now.. this will pay dividends as this season plays out.
My opinion, this has that 2010 feeling to the season.. instead of injuries decimating the roster.. it is questionable calls. Those are easier to overcome and provides a natural rally point.
