Not sure how much fault you can lay on Bulaga and Newhouse or the rest of the line. Yeah, they got beat. But that is what happens, when defenders, don't have to worry about protecting from the run. Just look at how our defense got after Cutler. It was pretty much the same type of situation. We got momentum and pinned out ears back. That is all seattle did.

It is not a coincidence that once we started running in the 2nd half, that Rodgers didn't get sacked. McCarthy needs to help the oline by calling plays better. and this wasn't a one time occurance. It is habitual by him.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Mike McCarthy is going through an identity crisis. He wants a spread attack because it has worked for 25 games. However, the tackles just aren't playing well. They took too long to adjust. I believe I posted as much on here at half time. Call screens, draws, mass protect, and run the ball. The Packers biggest asset right now is a potential play action passing game. They need to get the defense to buy in or it won't work. I'm not very worried because this staff will correct the problems. They always do.

Frankly, I think the 2009 blueprint is where this is heading. That year, Green Bay had a top 10 passing attack and top 15 rushing game. They used a short passing game to setup the deep pass. They also stayed with the running game.

i'd just like to say..

told ya!

SEA's D is no joke. I was suprised how shitty our tackles looked vs Clemons and Irvin though [puke]

on the other side, our D looked o.k. Wilson is still not where he needs to be as a passer.

Did you miss the shoulder press Finley chipped on Irvin? Looked like a lights-out block to me.

Finley has gotten more and more reliable this season. Hardly noticeable, but its baby steps.

Guess going all out pass doesnt work too well with slower tackles vs fast speed rushers.

Bulaga and Newhouse both got manhandled, but I blame the gameplan more than anything else. First half: 3 rushing plays, 8 sacks. Second half: 18 rushing plays, 0 sacks. That's not a coincidence.

I like how we have a thread about THE GAME and he creates a new one instead. 😛

(we had a lot of those puppies burst out of no where after the game!)

Bulaga is OVER RATED! Any half wit can see him getting turned around all the time. Geez.

To my thinking the Packers did not play well enough to win the game, the first half was especially bad. But they kept battling and figured out a way to win, which good teams do...and then had it, literally, stolen from them.

Let's not forget, as bad as the O was in the 1st half, the D only allowed 7 pts and kept us in the game.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Did Savion Williams run into a goalpost or something?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Is that better or worse than Banks bad back?
