Hey guys, thanks for the birthday wishes. Bug or not it is in fact my birthday today. Hopefully the Packers can come through the way they did the last time they played in Seattle on my birthday. Okay, it wasn't my birthday, it was the September 29, 1996 (had to look up exact date), and my dad took me to the game for my bday present (we lived in Boise at the time and had family in Seattle).
Anyway, it was my first ever Packer game live. It was one of the afternoon games so we went to brunch before hand and my Dad and his cousin fed me pancakes and 3 massive hot chocolates. I ended up getting sick at the game and puking in the bathroom. One of the probably 50,000 Packer fans that was there, turns to see this 8 year old kid with a Robert Brooks jersey hurling and replies, "now that's a true Packer fan." Bathroom erupts. Funny looking back at it, though I didn't get it at the time. Maybe I'll have a repeat tonight celebrating with the consumption of another beverage.
In any rate, Green Bay crushed Seattle that day 31-10. Reggie White returned an interception to the 1 yard line at one point. In general we dominated. Some fans climbed the King Dome and put a cheese head on top afterwards.
Here's to a repeat. Go Pack Go!
