I think Perry needs some time to transition fom a hand in the dirt lineman to an NFL OLB.
It has got to be a tough transition both mentally and physically.
I believe he will come around.

I am happy to see that Perry isn't being thrown into the fire and is able to sit back and take notes, whether he may like it or not. Sitting behind Matthews, watching him play and being coached by Kevin Greene isn't something one should complain about anyways. He is a hand-on-the-ground defensive end coming into the NFL learning and playing a brand new position. Learn, learn, learn and develop. Make plays when you are out there.

Full starter by next season (John Madden-esque prediction).

Edit, yep, that checks out - link . Adrian Peterson is widely known for having a death grip handshake so for someone to rip the ball out of his hands ... that's no small feat my friends.

Here's the highlight.

The article points toward his run defense being a positive, but I haven't been impressed with it at all. I think he's overaggressive and he's failing to seal the edge. I need to see more discipline before he's a full-time player. I'm quite concerned about this heading into Seattle where Marshawn Lynch awaits.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
