I have to say, I dislike Jones as a WR, but this is a great teammate move. The football world is all about QBs being dicks and yelling at their WRs\Linemen, so this could have been a time for JJ to play the victim or make a public plea for Aaron to not do that on TV,etc.

But he didn't.

He said "it was my fault, we hate turning the ball over, we show our emotions, and we move on try to win the game."

Classy move.

Jones has pretty much always said the right thing since he has been on the team. Though this is twice, that I can think of that he cut off a route and resulted in an INT. The other was when Flynn was under center.

This last time, I can excuse him. The defender had his route defended as well as possible. He was standing right were the ball was suppose to go. Most Jones could have done in that situation is try to run the DB over and hope for an PI or illegal contact. The ball never should have been thrown anywhere near Jones on that play.

The other, there is no excuse. It was a slant. Rule 1 when running a slant, NEVER cut off the route.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Gotta love that move by JJ, real classy. Really makes Finleys agent Baratz look like a dickhead...give him a sweatband so he can cover up his circumcision.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

I loved Mike Sherman as a person. Hated him as a GM. And never forgave him for punting on 4th and 1 to seal up the Eagles Playoff game. But as a person, great guy. Bleeds Green and Gold.

JJ may be in that category for me. Great move. Seems like a classy guy. But drives me nuts on the field.

I was pulling for him. HUGE fan of his in 2007. He reminded me so much of Sterling Sharpe.

It's stuff like this where I have to root for the guy. He's definitely Packer people.

agreed. great move on his part. If he has an issue with Aaron Rodgers let them go talk in the locker room and work it out. As I said in another post it is amazing that the qb never throws to the the wrong route it is always the receiver who is blamed for running the wrong one. go figure.

I really did want to root for JJ though. I was one of the guys defending him last year up until later on in the season when the drops got to the point of the straw breaking the camel's back.

I sometimes think that JJ belonged with Favre. Those two had a strong chemistry. Wish we traded him for Berrian. Berrian and Favre didn't click at all and wouldn't mind having a one-dimensional speedster. I'm sure 🇲🇲 could have given opposing DCs headaches with Berrian.

This is a Super Bowl or bust team. They all need to be on the same page.

Skip Bayless is a boring version of Andy Kaufman.

    Zero2Cool (21h) : HUMP DAY
beast (21h) : Guys that have a good shot at making the NFL Hall of Fame usually get into their teams pretty fast
beast (21h) : Yeah, but is Kampman and the others in the NFL Hall of Fame?
Zero2Cool (21h) : Johnson was Hall of Fame, 2020. Should haev been in Ring a year later, not three years.
    Zero2Cool (21h) : I could be wrong there though
Zero2Cool (21h) : Guys like Kampman, Tim Harris, Al Harris, etc all over 15 years. Hall of Fame is 5 year wait
Zero2Cool (21h) : I guess I see players in Packers Hall come way later
beast (21h) : Yeah, usually teams hall of fames are a much lower bar than the NFL
Zero2Cool (21h) : is it uncommon for Hall before Ring?
    Zero2Cool (22h) : S Xavier McKinney named first-team All-Pro by NFLPA
beast (23h) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (23h) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (23h) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
    Zero2Cool (23h) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (8-Jan) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : McCarthy let go or not extended??
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Chicago Bears have asked the Dallas Cowboys permission to interview Mike McCarthy for head coaching vacancy

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Missed FG into a Lions TD; that'll do pig, that'll do
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : didn't have guys in his face ... pressure makes difference
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
    Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
