Also I wouldn't mind keeping Dominguez around on the IR and letting him compete next season for a spot. If Sherrod is place on the PUP list he wont be able to practice with the team, so even if he is removed from the list after week 6, he would most likely need several weeks of practice before he is game ready.

So i guess they estimate he will be able to practice with the team earliere than week 7, i wouldnt be comfortable with a young tackle like him playing LT right off the bat with no practice for 10 months.
