I'm glad to see Ted Thompson make the move. He saw a problem and is doing what he can to remedy it. Our SB window is now, we can't hope someone busts out, then if they don't, draft someone next year and then wait a year or two for them to develop. I wouldn't be against bringing Grant back if necessary. The only other option is a trade. I don't know what is out there. I'm for anything that makes us better. A large part of the problem could be the OL. If that's true it should get better as we get our starting OL together.

I love Starks, but the guy has had a hard time staying healthy (and holding onto the damn ball).

Maybe Uncle šŸ‡¹šŸ‡¹ is using Benson to keep Grant, showing Grant that the Packers are the ones with leverage. Grant likes to believe he has leverage.

To be honest, I'd rather have Starks/Grant as they're awesome together. Starks is a tough guy. Grant has burst. They make a good 1-2 combo.

Benson did rush for 1000+ yards last year so he might have something left in the tank. He might be a one-year stop gap while we're developing one of our young RBs.

I've had ex-girlfriends who were easier to read than Uncle šŸ‡¹šŸ‡¹. Hard to tell what he's thinking. I would like to believe what I originally said - that he's using Benson to show Grant that the Packers are the ones with the leverage.

I like Starks also, so I still hope he comes through. Benson could still be a good addition because I don't think any of the GB RB's are very "tough" runners and Benson could ads this dimension. Also, our RB's haven't shown much of an ability to make the first player miss. So if as was mentioned, Benson can do this, then we have another dimension in our RB stable.

Saine pulled a hammy. This seems like a message to starks. Don't think Saine will be ready for a bit. I like what I saw from Marc Tyler though. He's got a chance. Starks has hands of stone. He becomes a liability in our offense when you can't catch in the flat and make a play.

Keep in mind, Grant showed bad faith by using the Favre fiasco as leverage for a new contract. Kind of like Jim Ringo going into Lombardi's office and saying, COACH, MEET MY NEW AGENT.

Plus Ced-Ben is capable of pass pro, receiving, and making the first guy miss.

Saine was held out with something minor.

Ryan Grant wanted a new contract and the Packers were coincidentally going through the whole Brett Favre trade stuff. Yeah, Ryan Grant planned that. The Packers started contract talks with Ryan Grant early June. But yeah, let's fault Ryan Grant and make him look bad, right?

I don't understand why some of us twist the facts around so much. It's mind boggling.

Zero, what really happened in the Ringo trade?
