The ability to sign in with your Facebook account, that's about it. DotNetNuke had a ton of features that weren't used, nor ever would be. So the overhead it wasted on resources (CPU speed, RAM) weren't worth it. I'm able to create a lot more features now without having to worry about the DNN framework.
