WTF does Nick Collins have to do with this?

As for what they can do about pain for an injury, remember when Brett Favre suffered an addiction to Vicodin, they found a solution for that ... I'm willing to bet there's one for Johnny Jolly too.

I started reading that, then 5 minutes later scrolled down to see how long it was ... I was scrolling for another two minutes! :P

I won't be hurt if the Packers try him out, sign him or just release him. I would prefer he pass a physical and does a tryout, but I'm not the one signing the paychecks. So I agree with Wade that's easier for joe blow to say "eh give him a shot!" cuz it is not our money.

Gee. I even give you techno-geeks with gnat-like attention spans clear clues as to which bits to skip and you still complain about it being too long.

And I'm the one on Adderall.

PACKERUPDATE

It’s been nearly three weeks since Johnny Jolly applied for reinstatement, and if Commissioner Roger Goodell decides to allow the veteran defensive lineman back into the league, an announcement is likely to be made before the end of the month.

If Goodell also gives him a suspension, that would make THREE guys on the DL who will be missing for suspensions.

Man, if Neal pans out and Jolly's still got it, we could really dominate on the DL. Raji, Pickett, Worthy, Neal, Jolly and then one more spot for which the rest will be fighting. Although we'd carry three extra at first due to the suspensions.

I thought Roger Goodell jumped the gun on the suspension with Johnny Jolly in the first place. Jolly never was banned/suspended before and first time was a full year. I might be wrong on my facts too though.

GBPG

League spokesman Greg Aiello said in an email today that Goodell has not made a ruling on Jolly’s application to have his indefinite suspension lifted.

Heading to work they said Johnny Jolly has applied for reinstatement. Should the Packers give him a tryout if reinstated?

I would vote Yes.

He has paid his due.. was well liked in the locker room.. and most importantly.. the dude could knock head in the trenches.

With the camp competition here trying to shore up a defensive line rotation, why not add another guy that may help.

Now... personally the layoff may not allow him to return to the role he once held.. but why not take a peek?

I would also welcome a workout of that Banks kid that still is floating around looking for a chance.. those types are hungry as all get out.
