Jeff Saturday will have a minimal learning curve being on a new team, with new plays and personnel around him, but that should not have too much of an adverse effect on the veteran's play.

Just trying to keep it real here.

the fact some of the teams The Packers have on their schedule are catching up to them talent wise and as I stated, I can see The Packers going 9-7.

They upped their WR talent and helped the passing game IMO. Though I don't think they upgraded their OL which is a good thing for the Packers... because the Packers upgraded their pressure guys so it could be a Packers strength against a Bears weakness.

I would be shocked if GB only wins 9 games. I wouldn't be surprised (as of right now) if they failed to win a playoff game again -- because I think (as always) they need a better offensive line and because I think that until the games start in September all we have is unproven "potential" for improving the worst defense in football last year.

But I do expect the defense to improve. And I do expect Marshall Newhouse (and therefore the OL) to improve. 15-1 took a lot of alignment-of-the-stars to pull off. But barring significant injuries (e.g. to #12), or McCarthy turning into Holmgren The Second, I see no way this team doesn't win at least 11 games in the regular season, and probably a couple more.

This year. Next year. And a couple years after that.

The kitties or the teddybears might put together a division title or two, but the Superbowl champ is going to have to beat the Packers for several years to come.

If the Packers can win 15 games without trailing in the 4th quarters with the 5th toughest schedule and the so called "worst D in the league". I wonder how they will do with the second easiest schedule and a better D?

A team that can win 19 straight including 3 playoff games and a super bowl and doesn't have any major losses in the highest rated passing passing game ever, should be able to eek out more than 9 wins with the schedule they have.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
