Tim Twentyman writes at the Lions’ website that Grant has been offered a deal by the Lions, who are still trying to add depth at running back.




Could fill a need for the Lions. Best should retire due to concussions. LeShoure ruptured an achilles. On the other hand, Grant is more of a mudder than a dome guy imo. Still he's got enough speed to be effected consistently on turf.

Crap. I don't want to be chasing Ryan Grant in the open field twice a year. Grant cannot break tackles like Starks can. However, once in the open field, he was one of our best runners we've had since Ahman Green.
