Rumor!

Packers are talking with Browns about acquiring Colt McCoy. I think he's a good QB and under good coaching will be very good.

I am hearing it will be for a late round pick.

Not 110% certain, but it's pretty darn close.

I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price

Not a bad idea for a 6th or 7th.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Here's an article on the possibility.

I think this is a good move, if done. Packers can train him up for a season or two and get a 3rd or 4th in 2014's draft.

Picking him up works for me. Especially if they give a 7th round pick for him.

Late, late, late please. 7th, no more. I'd rather just pick the winner from Boise St. day 3. If they can get McCoy for a 7th, that would be a good trade in my eyes.

Why would the Brown's trade McCoy for a 7th round pick? Doesn't make much sense to me, unless he is now unhappy and might be a locker room problem. A 7th round pick for a decent at worse back-up QB is a STEAL. I imagine it would take more than that, and I'd still be OK with that.

The Browns told Colt McCoy (hours before drafting Weeden) they would not be drafting a QB. Do you think Colt McCoy has any trust with the organization now? I would think the Browns would want him out as much as he wants out.

I'm okay with as high as a 6th for Colt McCoy.

idk doddpower. He was a 3rd round pick, and he kind of bombed with CLE. As a result, I would think his value is plummeting, and they want to get rid of him. Maybe a 6th, I suppose. Thing is, they've gone with two QBs on their final 53 before. Not really sure we need another, as I think they really like Harrell. If they want to add another, I'd rather they drafted WIlson or Moore, but they know best.

To me, a QB this year is more of a luxury pick, one that we don't really need. Trading away a 6th or 7th, when we might find a good OT, or someone else we might better develop/meet our needs. Last year we picked DJ Smith in R6 and Ryan Taylor in R7. Both turned out to be pretty big contributors. Yeah, we had a dud in there too in Elmore. Maybe Guy, but the jury is still out. do we really want or need another backup QB?
