Wait, Erik Walden sets the edge well against the run?? That's news to me (or any of the other OLB outside of CM3).
Depending on how the draft goes, I would not be surprised if he doesn't make the final 53 (and that will be fine by me). We have to get 90 bodies into camp somehow!

Neither has shown anything to warrant that we are comfortable at the position - I hope they prove otherwise, as I had high hopes for both last year. The only one who really showed us anything last season was Lattimore.
We ought to be adding two OLBs in this draft. We could use a good one to backup CM3.
What Walden did last season was shear stupidity. We can't have that on our team. My guess is we won't when it is all said and done. This signing, which I am certain it was way on the cheap, is nothing more than insurance at the bottom of our roster going into camp.
I do believe in redemption for a player, and that we may not know the whole story, but man, that was both dumb, and a momentum draining black eye for our team. We were on one hell of a roll after that Thanksgiving Day win in DET. Made it a tougher game the following week against NYG, then two weeks later lost to KC. I think his actions were a huge distraction to the team and its focus.
