Look at all the teams in dire need of help at WR:
IND
CLE
JAX
KC
STL
MIA
CIN
BUF
SEA
AZ
TEN
That's eleven teams. WR is not a deep position at the top of this draft, where many of these teams reside. We have a wealth of talent at WR with Jennings, Nelson, Jones, Driver, Cobb, and Gurley & Borel ready to advance. My guess is Jones gets traded, having signed a very, very cap friendly deal last year, which makes him doubly attractive in trade. We restructure DD's contract and move Gurley up onto the roster.
Would Jones along with a TE (Taylor, Williams or Crabtree), a 3rd this year and a 3rd next year be enough to get up into top 12?
Seven of those top 12 are in serious rebuild mode. Miami sure could use an instant infusion of talent on O - especially talent familiar with Philbin's system. I think we would be wise to try to get another 1st round pick this year, and draft 2 DEs and an OLB on Day 1. I certainly wouldn't mind drafting another starting calibre NT to give Raji a break.
Tons of other picks we have to trade with Day 2 as well. This could be fun.
