Quite possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever read,  on any topic. Enjoy!

Wow. "Drastically improve Green Bay's offense"?

Has he seen the last games Moss has played? The stats he put up, even when he was still the with Patriots, in 2010? The burst and exlosiveness he had in those games, rather than the 4.3 speed?

This is a ridiculous article.

That said, we should still cut Donald Driver.

Agreed.

I was one of those who chastised Thompson for letting New England get Moss. But that was then, and this is now.

The Packers do not need another WR, much less another 30-plus WR. I don't agree with Rock re: getting rid of Driver, not until someone beats him out. But the notion of "upgrading" by adding Moss is, now, well, just silly.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

OK whatever you say. But he would have still fit in with the rest of the offense that didn't show.

Favre threw that game on purpose. Randy Moss wouldn't have made a difference. Moss wouldn't have made a difference on the play where Favre laid down for Strahan to get the sack record either.

Let's also remember, it was the Raiders who jumped on the Patriots offer without giving the Packers a chance to match the pick or improve it. The Patriots said take it or leave it.

I love re-hashing old debates during the off season. We should light up the Brett Favre section too! Lots of good ones up in there! 🙂

Sure because when we missed out on Moss and the Patriots got him they won the SB ... oh wait ... The reason we lost against the Giants was Favre throwing his hail int mary & Burress destroying Harris!

As far as the topic I say hell no, we already have one big mouth on the offense we don't need another one. Plus we need to get Cobb on the field more as I see him jumping up to the #3 wr this year. We will keep DD just for the locker room presence and how he teaches the young receivers.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Driver has clearly lost a few steps. He's no longer the player he was in 2010, and he'll be worse in 2012.

That said, the last image I have of Randy Moss is Brett Favre throwing a perfect TD pass to a point only Moss could get it to win a Vikings game and Moss not even jumping up because he didn't feel like it.

I don't want to see Moss anywhere near a Packers uniform. He's amongst my least favorite players in the NFL.

I know I've been harping on it all month, but cutting Driver is about expanding Randall Cobb's role in the offense. The top four receivers should be Cobb, Jennings, Jones, and Nelson. Frankly, I’d like to see Cobb in the slot on more three-wide sets. Right now, they alternate Driver and Jones. They shouldn’t alternate next year. Cobb should be their No. 3 receiver.

NOO!! Don't cut Driver. Can we just have one player that stays in GB his whole career? This is depressing to me that everyone is just cool with cutting him. He can still play. Hell, he was on of the only ones who showed up in the playoff game this year.

Driver is very good in the slot even at his age. I don't think it will stunt Randall Cobb like some muse about. It typically takes 3 seasons for a WR to adjust and make themselves at home in the NFL.
