My semi-uninformed guess is that the Vikings will end up moving.

Sounds like the worthless goons in St. Paul only are willing to 'renovate' the Dump in order to appease the Vikings stadium needs. Awesome, just what the fanbase needs.. Another 2nd rate, built on the cheap Dump to attend 8+ days a season. The whole reason we are even HAVING this discussion is because the state built a shiny new stadium on the cheap in the first place. If they just did serious renovations to the Met, there is no issue.

That said, if that's the only viable option in the state's eyes (the re-Dump option), I'm all for the Vikings moving. And as weird as it is for me to admit this, I've always said I was a MINNESOTA Viking fan, with emphasis on MINNESOTA, I will continue to be the LA/Anaheim/Industrial Viking fan (or whatever mascot they may change to).

And if that does happen.. I will be the first in line to point and laugh at all the anti-Viking supporters when the NFL eventually comes back to MN and the state ends up paying hundreds of Millions of dollars for a new stadium for the new team.

I said a year ago that politics would befoul the whole situation and the ownership (current or new) would be forced to head to LA LA Land and work on their tans.

The team formerly known as the Vikings will end up in the NFC Coco Butter Division (West) while the once was LA Rams will end up in the NFC Norris (North).

Last information I heard was that the only site the state will have a session about is the Dome site. The Vikings, rightfully so, are not very happy about it. Don't be surprised to hear relocation news by the Feb 15th deadline.

I've told you this before, Formo. I'd hate to see you guys move, especially to LA. I like the old NFC Central/North battles between us, you, da Bears, and the Lions. It's a long history, and one that has so far lasted my lifetime. We had the Bucs with us for awhile too but they never felt like one of us. They had no business being in our division.

As for LA, most fairweather fans out there. All Al Davis accomplished by moving to LA is get gang bangers to like the Raiders. For a long time, Raider fans were associated with low lives. It took a long time for the Bay Area to forgive Davis for that move.

The LA Vikings sounds horrible. Maybe change your name to the LA Rollerskaters, or the LA Fairweathers, or the LA Plastic People. Yes, SF people don't like LA people. They suck. They're fake. And they don't know sports one bit.

Find yourself a Lakers fan and start discussing who is on the bench for the Lakers and they'd give you a deer in the headlights stare. That's how LA "fans" are. At least they'd be able to name Kobe. Maybe one other player.

There's a movie called "Clueless" that pretty much defines that town. Or "Beverly Hills 90210." Those will be the future Vikings fans.

Yuck. :-&
Just thinking about it makes me want to puke.

Why do you think he'd never be a Packers fan? He might be happy. He wouldn't know what to do.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law

dfosterf (18-Jun) : Beats the hell out of a Vikings signing

dfosterf (14-Jun) : TWO magnificent strikes for touchdowns. Lose the pennstate semigeezer non nfl backup
dfosterf (14-Jun) : There was minicamp Thursday. My man Taylor Engersma threw
dfosterf (11-Jun) : There will be a mini camp practice Thursday.
