WARNING: Realist/Pescimist View

Even if by some miracle we made the playoffs, I don't see us beating the Giants, Tampa, Arizona, or the Cowboys. Maybe the latter three, but the Packers would get killed by the Giants in the NFC championship. And even if they pulled off that upset, they'd have to face teams like Pittsburg, Tennessee, or the Jets. Just don't see it happening.

I thank God that you did not pass your genes and outlook down to Herb Brooks and the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team.

You are giving us your Realist/Pessimist view? That is an oxymoron.

I bet you had a Vegetarian/Hamburger for dinner tonight, and were Thinking/Out-loud when you posted this, then gave your girlfriend a little Cruel/Love.

That whole idea of being a Realist/Pessimist is a Genuine/Illusion.

Angry? No real happy about the youth movement of this team, and the future of the Packers in the next 8 years.

Oh my bad, you were helping me on my grammar and use of slashes. Kind of like a 6th grade English teacher. "Realist/Pescimist" denotes that some may see me as a realist and others, a pescimist; It depends on if you agree with me or not. Perhaps my use of slash doesn't fit. Please help me understand the appropriate use of slashes in the English language.

As a fan, I don't "believe in miracles", but... if I were a coach or player, then of course I would. My pessimism (or realism) has nothing to do with whether or not the Packers win or lose the next four games. As a fan, I have the luxury of being as realistic or pessimistic as I want.

Hahahaha how is it every time i read something completely ridiculous it always turns out to be you typing it RP. Well at least in the past few weeks. It was obvious that those are opposites and he was taking account both parties. Seems like every post you put up gets worse, stop trying to poke holes in every possible post you can find.

I don't see anything wrong with what RP posted...

The statement he was responding too was hilarious...

We can't beat them, but we can beat them, and if we do beat who we can't beat we won't beat them.
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another. -Vince Lombardi

I don't fully agree, Good players, good team, bad coaching.

Coaching plus Players = Team

Think of it that way and we are on the same page.

Don't overreact, guys. Think of where GB was this time last year. How did you get there? Don't be so down on your team. There are a lot of positives I see from you guys this season.

Green Bay: good team, bad record.

You'll be back in '09.

Thank You Dan....

It is just humor. I am not personally attacking anyone. Nor could I be a Grade 6 teacher. Hell, I do not even graduate form high-school.

I have a very dry sense of humor... If it comes across as poking holes in someones post or personally attacking anyone.... I apologize.

The only thing that I find questionable is when there is the same posters over and over and over again typing nothing but negative. It gets old, fast.

As long as we're correcting grammar, it's "pessimist." Notice how I put the period inside the quotations? That's intentional. It's called AP Style. Oh -- and stop misusing the apostrophes, you Philistines!
