I was willing to give McNabb a few weeks to get acclimated with the team and work on the chemistry thing most QBs/WRs/TEs need. But I think it's painfully clear that McNabb's past year and a half really was diseased and not a mirage. After the first 3 weeks, with impressive first halves, I was willing to give the Vikings today's game to decide how I wanted to think of them.

If the Vikes blew out KC, then I felt they had a legit chance at the division title. If they barely won, I would have been pissed (not showing enough brute force to warrant positive vibes, and all but blowing the Suck for Luck campaign). And if they lost, then I would be 100% on board with the Luck Sweepstakes.

The Vikings are awful. The only thing you can hope for now is that they're like the Lions - the doormat for long enough that they get all these super studs in the first round like Megatron and Suh.
