Anyone who thinks The Packers should go into New York(Jersey), and roll over The Giants, is probably going to be real dissapointed by the end of the game.

This will be The Packers toughest test to date.

Going ON THE ROAD, against a team who are in a must win scenario, not to mention the fact that The Packers all but eliminated The Giants from the playoffs last year.

A blow out would be great, but I will take a 1 point win, getting out of town without any additional injuries.

Winning on the road is the toughest task of any NFL team, IE; Saints roll over the Colts 62-7 only to be beaten ON THE ROAD the very next week by the winless(at the time) Rams.

Any road win is anaccomplishment, one reason this season has been a little more special over past years.

Packers 28 Giants 27.

This is going to be more difficult than some believe. Drew Brees with the Saints has been averaging more than 40+ points against the Giants. He simply owns the Giants.

This game will be right up there with playing the Saints and Bears and Lions on the difficult meter. It's not the most difficult task of the season thus far, that's clear, but it is not going to come easy.

Count me in as one of those who (erroneously perhaps) doesn't think this will be as tough a game as some are making it out to be. The giants are pretty banged up on both sides of the ball. I think it'll be at least a 10 point victory.

I was more worried about this game at the begginning of the season then i am now. I think the Giants are more "ripe for the picking" now then ever. I think the most important aspect now is, to get up on them early and make them feel defeated before the game is even at half time. Demoralize them, and they will act like they did last week's game. They looked out of it on the sidelines.
Of course NO pro game can be taken for granted. If you let them feel like they have a chance, they could win. Get their crowd out of it, and i think they will fold.

New York is in a must win situation because they simply are not that good. They're only 17th in scoring offense (22.9 ppg) and 27th in scoring defense (25.2 ppg). This is in spite of having played 8 teams currently holding losing records. They've even managed to lose to Seattle AT HOME. If Seattle can do it, we sure as hell should.

We're coming off an extended break and they're coming off a short week. We should roll over them. Could we lose? Yeah, there have been bigger upsets. But if we lose it would be because we didn't play anywhere near our standard. By the end of the regular season we will have played probably 7 games that are more difficult than this one.

let's face it in regards to the remaining teams on the schedule, GB's "toughest test" is always the team they are facing this week.

I agree with some of the other posters here that this game will be our toughest yet. I am thankful with have the raiders at home thou ... could of been interesting.

Question on logistics ...

I havnt been as active on the forums this year and thus I perhaps have missed somethings ...
- Is there still a live gameday chat going on with a live feed? ... the few times I looked (earlier this year) there wasnt one. I realize people can go to various sites and attempt to watch feeds but after a couple of times 'attempting' to watch a feed like that I just grew frustrated. Our PH feeds from last year were always top notch.

anyways ... is there a feed here still or do we just have a chat and no feed?

I just hope we get to see that famous Manning pout by the end of the game. Peyton's is much more pronounced but Eli looks like a big pussy when beaten too.

beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
