The Christmas decorations are going up as I write and along with the tree and house lights, my MAJOR AWARD LEG LAMP is shining brightly in our living room picture window.

Last year my daughter and her husband went out after Christmas and got a full sized Leg Lamp (from The Christmas Story movie) and gave it to me yesterday at Thanksgiving dinner. Along with it my granddaughter had her roommate in Pullman WA make up a nice sign on oilcloth that states..."I Won A Major Award!" That sign is taped at the top of the window for the whole neighborhood to see.

Man, the older I get the trashier I love things. Next year I'm going to get an old Winnebago, like in Christmas Vacation, and park it in the driveway from Thanksgiving to New Years. Maybe even have some weird goop and crap leaking out of it.

Love the Holidays!!!!

Congratulations Bob.

You have now raised the sophistication level of Montana tenfold...no longer will Montana be the Butte of jokes.

You truly are a Renaissance Man.

You can joke about Butte anytime you want to. Missoulians call Butte the "Armpit of America." Just don't make fun of Butte to a Butte native or you might find yourself at the bottom of the Berkeley Pit, an open pit copper mine right in downtown Butte, now slowly filling with toxic water and waste from 100 years of mining.

Oh.....did you mean the BUTT of jokes? Same thing...Butte or Butte. Whats the difference?

Let's not forget that our beloved QB 🇦🇷 was born and raised in Butte County. Nice place.

Oh, you mean Butte, Montana. Never mind.

Never confuse Butte County Ca. with Butte/Silver Bow County Montana. World of difference between the two. Only good QB to come out of Butte Montana was Bob O'Billovich, who made it big in the Canadien Football League, then went on to coach up there. That was a long time ago.....he was a senior at UM when I was a sophomore and all he did was call me a lousy punter. 44.6 yds. per kick is lousy? Net returns of 4.1 yds. is lousy? Gimme a break!

Oh....VikesRule. My first car was a Rennisance. Oops, guess it was a Renault. Either way, had to push it a block to get it started. Piece of crap.

Bob with all those hills why did you have to push it? I got mine started by letting it roll down a hill most of the time. I made sure I stopped somewhere there was a slope. Even if I walked 3-4 blocks.
Out there everything has to be slanted one way or the other /\ /\ \/

Too bad you're not a little bit younger. The Packers could use a punter with those stats.

wpr....I grew up in Milwaukee. I'd back the car up the driveway as it was a slight incline, then the next day get in, push with one foot and get it rolling down the driveway, pop the clutch, and bingo....car started.

Yeah, not a whole hell of a lot of flat ground around here. The hill and street from my house to Highway 93 down below us is a 6% grade for 3/4 mile. We always make sure our brakes are working.
