I asked a simple question so others do not have to try to read someones mind. It's not difficult to respond respectfully.

And RP, Green Bay sounds like Mandan, ND. You get a DUI across the river, your ass sits until Monday morning, unless you retained a prepaid bail bond.

Remember that the definition of assault is simply bringing someone into the fear of danger, so it's literally possible to be charged with assault for advancing threateningly on someone or even just yelling at them. No contact is implied by the word assault.

A lot of these charges get dropped immediately, especially when the woman realizes the seriousness of what she has started far outweighs what she intended. It's not at all uncommon for the offended woman to be begging the cops not to drag the guy away.

Oddly enough, there are still people who are stupid enough not to realize the cops will intervene if you call them. Especially when a woman is involved, they are required by law to do so.

Yes, when it comes to domestic abuse cases, I stand firmly on the side of the man until pretty convincing evidence to the contrary emerges. The law is just too wildly stacked against men, and the charges too frequently abused by women, to react any other way.

Bail hasn't been set, because the court is closed today. The joke around here is if you get busted, make it on a Sunday night so you can get out Monday morning in court. Because if you get nailed Friday night, you're stuck til Monday morning when court commences.

So, no court, no bail has been set to be made.

That sucks, but might be an eye opener for Mr. Walden to spend 3 nights on a rubber mattress. I wonder if he will miss any team meetings or planned activites?

Some sources are now saying he was charged with battery, which would imply contact. I wish they would get it straight which offense he was actually charged with. Journalists don't seem to understand the difference between assault and battery these days.

The Green Bay Press Gazette is saying he was charged with "felony domestic violence -- substantial battery." That must be a pretty broad charge if a woman who had no visible injuries can be the victim of "substantial battery."

I'm guessing this will get dismissed or pled way down.

To do so, in fact, would be a crime. Thankfully, the laws in Wisconsin aren't that extreme, but depending on the judge involved in the case, sometimes they might as well be. The horror stories are innumerable.

From what I heard she had a bruised and cut head, also an injured right hand. I'm on my phone right now but u can Google "wisconsin circuit court records." Should be publicly available.

I caould give a rats ass what the charges are.

WAY TO STAY FOCUSED ERIC!!!!

I guess being part of something that could turn out real special just wasn't enough.

I agree with who it was that said The Organization should come out and hand him a nice suspension asap.

Whether the charges get reduced or dropped or he ends up having to go to trial, IMHO he should be taught a lesson.

Just don't put yourself in that kind of situation.

I am not judgeing him guilty or innocent, just saying walk the hell away and deal with it at a later time.

Will be interesting to see what kind of moves Ted and Mike make the next 10 days.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
