Nested quotes are great for discussions that are spittered (pretty sure i made up that word. sup?) across long threads. Makes the conversation easiest to follow. I understand it looks cluttered but honestly when I know whats going on in a thread I completely skip over the quotes (or piles of quotes) and go right to what the user posted. Don't even notice they are there. I know everyone has their pet-peeves but i just don't see it as a huge deal.

So let me get this straight. You think nested quotes are great but you skip right over them? Then what, pray tell, is the point of nested quotes?
