Did anybody catch the post game conference with Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers?

You could see from the moment he stepped on to the podium he was annoyed with himself.

What strikes me is the absolute authority in which he dissects his own game and the few errant throws he made.

It's fascinating seeing someone's drive and determination on display.

I think I like this demeanor more than the "awe shucks, interceptions happen" demeanor.

And all this "Oh, but the game is meant to be played for fun" doesn't wash with me - that is some lame ass excuse for throwing picks.

It seems as if the whole team has a likewise demeanour, and I for one love it.

It's the "sweep the leg" mentality.

The one thing that strikes me is his recall of not only who he threw too, but where the D was lined up on every play.

He can bring up games from a year ago and says who he threw a TD to to win the game and describes the play.

He has an incredible memory for the details of the game.

112.3 QB Rating. Most QBs only dream of that number. Yet everyone including Rodgers himself thinks he was a bit off yesterday.

What an amazing QB.

Two things I want out of this season:
1) Packers win the SB.
2) 🇦🇷 breaks P Manning's single season QB rating record.

I already got one of the things I wanted this season - us sweeping the Vikings by 22+ pts.

This game was under P Manning's single season QB rating record. Not acceptable for #2.

Do you think 🇦🇷 is aware of P Manning's record? I'm willing to bet anyone that he is and he's gunning for it.

Those who think that players are unaware of stats are delusional. I have heard many NFL players note their fantasy teams, for instance.

as others have stated, I do agree and appreciate that he's not just paying lip service to his "off" performance. Other unnamed QBs may revert to aww shucks mode to explain interceptions and poorer performances, but this compulsive attention to detail and desire for perfection is what has, and will continue to make AR so enjoyable to watch.
