I don't think for a person who played football since they were a kid is at all sad to have their most important thing being the only team to go undefeated in the NFL. Not at all. If you're naive enough to think that feat was more important than their children being born, being married, etc .. you're the sad individual, not him.

However, you can't say that your opinion is logic when it is just as much opinion as mine or non's. Although I don't share in the view of something recent taking greater importance than an event that occurred years earlier.

Basically, what this guy said reminded me of a verse,(just so you can see where I was coming from)1 Peter 1:24-25.

I feel it's short sighted to take a comment and brandish such a broad stroke over someones life that they never met or even know in person. In my opinion, that's very weak and short sighted.

Obviously, I'm ignorant to the person's full context, but I feel he was referring to professionally speaking the most important thing was the '72 season. The mentioning of the Patriots losing being the 2nd most important thing ... well ... personally my feeling is anytime something bad happening to someone else is something of great importance to you is awful. Maybe I was raised wrong, but I was always raised to hope for the best for others and raise yourself above, rather than push others down to give the illusion you are above.

In other words, be great by being great, not try to be great by others failures or shortcomings.

I'm getting more and more sold on Bulaga. Bryan just looks right next to Sitton on the right side.

I'm thinking 🇹🇹 will go D-line early during the next draft. Raji and Pickett have looked completely wiped out this year. We need to prolong those guys careers as long as possible.

Taking a look at Morris' life, being on that 14-0 team may just be the high point.

After his football career ended, he ended up going to prison(drug related if I remember correctly), then struggled to get his life back together after serving his time.

I do think it is pretty silly that every year The 74 Dolphins throw a little party when there are no more undefeated teams, but they started the tradition way back when and have the right to do so until another team joins them.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
