I've studied both teams all season.

Green Bay frustrates teams because the other team feels the pressure to keep up with the packers offensively. It's a daunting task and takes most teams out of their game.

The 49ers frustrate teams by giving them nothing on offense, slowly kill them with their running game and choke them to submission.

I liken this to MMA. The striking game of the packers vs the submission style of the 49ers.

That team matches up very well w/the packers and have minimal mistakes/turnovers.

I really hope the Packers don't see them in the playoffs.

Well the Packers really match up well against them also. Play heavy with Raji, Pickett, Green stuffing everything inside the tackles. Limiting their run game to make them pass to keep up.

If we see them, it will be in the Championship game.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

If I had to pick a team that would pose a problem for the Packers, it would be the Saints, not the 49ers. The 49ers lack of WR helps the Packers defense tremendously. The Packers are going to put up 30+, you will not get that running the ball against the Packers.

Yeah, I would be MUCH more worried about the Saints, Eagles, and even the Giants before the 49ers. Eventually the game would come down to Alex Smith have to put up some serious points and I don't think he could keep up. It would be a tough battle, but I'm confident Rodgers could at least drop 30 on that defense. The only possible equalizer is horrible weather, but even then, the Pack could handle them. The pass rush of the Giants and the potent offenses of the Saints and Eagles will be a bigger threat.

the last 2 RBs wev'e seen, Tolbert and Peterson have pretty much been unchallenged.

Gore would get a 100-yard game on us

I fear the eagles, giants and for some reason the saints much more.

Of course, Alex Smith doesn't even copare to Aaron Rodgers, but like I said -- SF's receivers won't be the reason why we'd beat them.

Living in the Bay Area, I have a lot of respect for the Niners and their fans, and I've been lucky that we've always beaten them. But to be honest, I don't think I can handle us losing to the 49ers... especially in the playoffs.

The Packers shouldn't fear anyone, they should respect everyone. I would worry more about the teams mentioned than the 9'ers. I might add Detroit and even the Bears, who always play us tough. The 9'ers may have good recievers but they still haven't shown their QB can win a game and I don't believe the rest of the team is that strong to win with a game manager at QB, especially in the Playoffs.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?
