If I had to pick a team that would pose a problem for the Packers, it would be the Saints, not the 49ers. The 49ers lack of WR helps the Packers defense tremendously. The Packers are going to put up 30+, you will not get that running the ball against the Packers.

And the Saints, from the look of it, will play a Wild Card game then move on to the 49ers in the Divisional round as we play the Lions coming off a win against the Giants.

Gore would get a 100-yard game on us

I will caution you all. I have watch much of the 49'ers season being in their television market.

They are an above average team, but the Packers are much better.

The Packers can control Frank Gore and the running game. Alex Smith rarely throws the ball 10 yards when he does throw. He is not accrate enough.

The match ups that may be most worrisome are the Giants. I know they go hot and cold but on a good day might stand the best chance of getting the Packers.

The Saints with a lead and running the ball is less problematic.

Some of you worry too much. The 49'ers should not be part of it.

The Giants relentless pass rush would cause the Packers fits, especially when generating that much pressure with only four rushers.

My concern with the 49ers is that no doubt Alex Smith will be reminded by the media how San Fran did not select Aaron Rodgers. I can see this motivating him to play his heart out.

Doesn't look like we'll have to worry about Philly.

Frankly, I think Detroit and N.Y. Giants match up better with the Packers. The Lions have the front four to beat the Packers. The 49ers don't. They'll bring the blitz and Rodgers will burn them over and over. Detroit doesn't need to blitz. Suh will whip the middle of the Packer line, which frees up everybody else to make plays. The Giants are similar too. They don't need to bring a lot of pressure. Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul would give the GB OL fits, though I'm not so sure their secondary could hold up. I wouldn't rule out New Orleans, either. They're the only team that can compete with GB in a shootout.
