Well, we all thought it would be fun to watch this group of talented receivers with Aaron Rodgers at QB, and it sure has been fun. Here are the numbers. Multiply them by three and add a little bit extra to project how they will do for the season if things continue as is (which, of course, they won't):

Greg Jennings: 29 catches, 448 yards, 15.4 avg, 4 TDs
Jordy Nelson: 18 catches, 309 yards, 17.2 avg., 3 TDs
Jermichael Finley: 22 catches, 301 yards, 13.7 avg., 3 TDs
James Jones: 14 catches, 228 yards, 16.3 avg., 2 TDs
Randall Cobb: 9 catches, 174 yards, 19.3 avg., 1 TD
Donald Driver: 9 catches, 76 yards, 8.4 avg., 1 TD
Tom Crabtree: 2 catches, 19 yards, 9.5 avg., 0 TDs
D.J. Williams: 1 catch, 7 yards, 7.0 avg., 0 TDs

Five games into the season, I would say that the biggest surprise has been Donald Driver's lack of production. I did not expect him to drop off so drastically, especially after he looked fine in the preseason. At this point he is a starter only in name. I see him standing on the sidelines during many key plays now. I wonder at what point Nelson and/or Jones will be named the starter opposite Greg Jennings. I'm also surprised that Andrew Quarless does not yet have any catches. Has he even been on the game day roster?

I don't want to dwell on the negative, though. There is only one ball, and it's not going to be distributed evenly. The only trend I will predict is that Randall Cobb will become more involved. The best thing about having all of this receiving talent is that if one or even two of these guys get injured, as long as it's not both Jennings and Finley, there will still be plenty of talented guys to catch the ball.

Quarless was inactive last week. Until he can contribute on special teams I don't see much changing. They don't really need more receivers at the moment.

Ya Quarless and Driver are hurt. Cobb is explosive man. He's gonna beat out Jordy for the #2 spot for sure. And Jordy's good.
Any one of our 5 WRs could be # 1s elsewhere. And that doesn't even include the TEs.
Thanks TT!

Any team for which Driver could be a #1 receiver isn't sniffing the playoffs any time soon.

I took their averages and multiplied by 3 and...WOW! They are really going to produce the rest of the season!

Okay, he wouldn't be a #1 for any team whose receiving corps wasn't severely depleted by injury. 😝
