This will be a good opportunity to give Sherrod some more playing time so he isn't quite so green out there. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have him play the whole game and rest Bulaga for the Vikings game.

Another game that shouldn't be close.

Green Bay: 51
St. Louis: 10

Steven Jackson gets a rushing TD on Rams first possession and scares Packer fans.

Then the defense discovers a pass rush and Rams don't sniff the red zone again.

Rodgers has 5 TDs, and sits entire fourth quarter.

Everyone's saying the Packers should beat the Rams by a million points, but there's also a feeling that we should rest some key guys, make sure everyone stays healthy, and generally slide by this 0-4 team. I don't think the two things necessarily go together. Yeah, the Rams suck. But this is still the NFL we're talking about. I think the O-line, for example, will be fine against the Rams with Sherrod in for Bulaga, and Newhouse over on the left, but if we have guys in spots like that all over the team, I don't know if we can expect to see a blowout.

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong on this, but I'd rather see McCarthy keep his foot on the gas at this point in the season than get conservative with personnel.

edit: Also, the idea that we should rest any starters who can go against the Vikings is ridiculous.

The Rams are down their top 3 CB's and will probably have to start Al Harris. Loved him when he was here and I still like him but 3 CB's like him against 🇦🇷 and our receivers = huge blowout.

Rams forums aren't nearly as fun to read as falcons forums.

Yeah they're gonna go with Justin King (worst profootballfocus rating among corners who've played more than 25% of their teams snaps), Al Harris and Josh Gordy (former Packers) as their starters and nickel. Needless to say, whatever Rodgers wants in this game, Rodgers gets.

How do we keep getting all these bye weeks? It's a conspiracy I tell you!

Here's another opportunity for the Pack to prove they don't play down to opponents.

And I would let Bulaga sit another week.

Unless Bulaga is 100% I would sit him also. If he is able to play I would get him out of there anytime the second half we have the game in control. The Queens won't be easy next week and they will bring pressure on Aaron. I hope we jump out early and keep our foot on the trottle. Don't let the Rams get any momentum or confidence they can play with us. Those are also nice relaxing games to watch!

They won't get Luck. Bradford has been solid this season, his line just doesn't block for him and they don't have a running game. Not to mention their defense is the worst in the league.

I kind of feel bad for them though. If Mike McCarthy lulls away one game this year I hope it's this.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season

Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
