The reference to Jackie Chan in another thread got me thinking of all the *good* Asian actors there are out there. (No, I don't include Chan in that list, sorry, much as I like his movies from time to time.

Here's my list for today. Who is on yours?

5. Chow Yun-Fat.
4 Michelle Yeoh.
3.Takeshi Kaneshiro
2. Toshiro Mifune
1. Tony Leung Chiu-Wai

The top 2 I had never heard of until I saw Red Cliff. But I don't think I've ever seen a better performance than Leung's, and Kaneshiro's wasn't far behind. Bastard's only 38, though, so he can't be #2 yet. :)
