The Bears player had his leg whip around and his Bulaga in the outside of the knee, thats what I saw. Looked like best case scenario, it is a bruised knee. Worst case, the Unhappy Triad: blown MCL, medial meniscus, and ACL.

William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Peteralan, I did not see that at all. Thanks for the clarification. Any info on how long these injuries usually linger for? You think, assuming it is just a bruised knee, Bulaga will be ready for next week?

If it is a bruise, it depends on if it is a soft tissue injury, a bruised bone, or what exactly did happen (recall that Tramon had a bruised nerve). I have just kind of come to the point where I don't really trust what MM says until we get the official diagnosis back later in the week. Could be back next week if it's just a bruise, but like I said it depends on a bruise of what, the severity, and if it truly is a bruise. As for the "worst case", it didn't look like he was hit anywhere hard enough to have an Unhappy Triad. That's obviously a really traumatic injury.

Newhouse handled the pressure well. The Bears had Peppers lined up against him for a good chunk of the game and we didn’t hear his name much. Grant ran for 89 yards though. At 5.9 yards per carry, he gets the nod for player of the game.

edit: I meant to add, Finley had a great game. TD’s are, obviously, huge. That said, I don’t know how forth coming those TD’s would have been without the run game to get us into position to score in the first place.

I agree Silento, in fact let Newhouse play next week and have Bulaga rest. These aren't the Sherman Packers anymore, we have depth, so use it.

My vote goes to Morgan Burnett for player of the game. Pressure was on him and he came up aces. He has very good ball skills.

He came up Aces? Who are you? Bob Costas?

I've been preaching about Burnett since the Packers drafted him. He's the real deal. This could be the start of a Pro Bowl caliber season.

Finley's such a mismatch, so obviously he deserves kudos, but Clay Matthews played a hell of a game too. I know the stats don't show up, but the Bears were flat out afraid of him. Cutler made a bad throw every time he felt his presence. In fact, the entire front seven played amazing. The story is Chicago didn't run a lot, but Green Bay didn't let them run.

of those 2 choices I would go with Grant. OL rarely get any kind of love.
JerMike had a solid game.
I think Rodgers was the consummate field general out there today.
Big game for Gregorious.
Clifton did a pretty good job. Somehow he induced the Bears DL to jump off sides a few times. I think that slowed their rush down.
Cobb was fearless on the punt returns. That had to help a bit.
Burnett had some nice plays and deserves recognition.
I agree with the posts that CM III had everyone on the Bears offense looking for him. He had some big plays and he took a pounding trying to get in there on other plays.
There were some hard hitting tackles coming from Bishop.

All in all GB deserved the W today.

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
