What I saw of Carolina highlights is,
Cam is not very accurate.
He threw 2 picks and one was called back. However, they can't call back how bad the throw was.
His first TD was to an uncovered receiver. Cam was not under duress at that point but he made the WR stop and wait for the ball. If there had been even poor coverage on him, it would have been a pick.
His second TD was a nice throw that beat trailing coverage.
He had some underneath throws to wide open guys where he could have hit them in stride. But he missed badly. He even took a wide open WR off his feet or it might have gone for a TD. When uncovered guys have to dive for catches, that is not a good throw.
Even the Pass attempt to Shockey in the end zone at the end of the game was a poor throw. It was over thrown and Shockey made a great catch. But the ball took him out of bounds. The throw needed a lot more touch.
The big knock in preseason was his accuracy. It appears to still be an issue. Fortunately for him, he played the Cards last week.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
